IDS SMS offers SMS text messaging at competetive wholesale prices. Our unit price is dependant on volume and frequency purchased, so the more you buy, the cheaper it gets.

There are no monthly subscriptions or set up fees, you only pay for the SMSes you purchase. 1 SMS will cost you 1 SMS credit.

Note: Purchases done on a regular basis can be paid for by debit order.

There are two price stuctures with IDS SMS for RSA, viz: ZA and AFR
ZA:
This allows for a message with the maximum of 160 characters, 1 message, 1 unit
The ZA account is the default account.

AFR:
The maximum message length is 440 characters, 1 message, up to 3 units.
When creating an account select AFR.
Should you require AFR & ZA units, then two accounts will be required.
When purchasing units, specify AFR required, else default ZA (160) units will be issued.

Additional feature of AFR:
Instead of showing the long Bulk SMS number where the SMS is from, you can place your
own called ID, but this will prevent the reply facility from working, ie when the default called ID is replaced.
